Beatriz Larraz Iribas took a degree in Mathematics & Statistics at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (1992) and a PhD at the University of Castilla-La Mancha (UCLM, 2004). She is currently Lecturer of Statistics at the Faculty of Law and Social Sciences of Toledo (UCLM). Its main lines of research are Spatial Statistical, Economic Inequality, Gender Equality, Real Estate and Electoral Processes. She is the researcher in charge of the research group The Tagus River: towards a holistic approach to their problems and solutions (UCLM) and Chair of the Environment Committee of the Faculty. She has published five books and over thirty articles in journals of international renown. She has led five research projects and collaborated in ten in recent years. She has given several lectures, and seminars, and presented many papers at national and international conferences. Likewise, she is the editor of Series of Data Analysis and Methods in Social Sciences and member of its International Scientific Committee, part of the Université du Québec en Outaouais and evaluator of several international scientific journals.
