Emilie PetPetri Emilieri M.A. is a human-environmental geographer interested in political ecology, water governance, and international and comparative environmental policy. She holds a BA in geology from Macalester College (St. Paul, MN, USA) and a MA in geography and development studies and graduate certificate in water policy from the University of Arizona (Tucson, AZ, USA) . Her thesis examined transboundary groundwater governance on the US-Mexico border and how water contamination is impacting bi-national communities. She has worked on climate change and water policies initiatives in Mexico and the Institute for the Environment in Tucson, AZ. She moved to Europe in 2017 to expand and deepen her perspectives on these topics and is currently based in Bavaria, Germany at the Hof University of Applied Sciences.
