Nuria Blázquez

Nuria Blázquez is a Biologist and Master in the Management of Protected Areas and has extensive experience in project management, community engagement and local development. As a Local Development Officer, she managed community led projects on urban development, sustainable transport, organic farming and rural tourism in El Valle del Tiétar (Spain), including award-wining projects.  She also managed a number of complex projects on rural development.  More recently, she managed a highly successful community lead project for urban regeneration in Dumfries (Scotland). During the last year, she managed protected areas in Fife (Scotland) where she also coordinated the community led project “Fife Pilgrims Way”, a long-way path throughout Fife
