Jesús Vargas is researcher in Geography, at Pablo de Olavide University. He holds a Degree in Environmental Sciences form the National University of Distance Education (2011), a Master Degree in Environmental and Territorial Management (2012) from Pablo Olavide University of Seville, a University Expert in GIS from the International University of Andalusia (2014) and a PhD in Environmental Studies from the Pablo de Olavide University of Seville (2016). His work as researcher has focused on water governance and water policy with special interest in water risk management. In recent years he has worked in different national and international research projects focusing on drought management. Nowadays, he his working on the R&D projects “Assessment of Socio-institutional Vulnerability to Drought: Methodology Proposal, Analysis of Case Study and Guide Draft, EVALSOC” and “Empowering Climate Resilience, E-CARE”.
