Ruben Ladrera. Degree in Environmental Sciences from the University of Salamanca and Doctor from the Public University of Navarra. Master in ecology of inland aquatic ecosystems from the University of Barcelona. At present, he is a secondary school teacher and develops research studies in fluvial ecosystems of La Rioja in collaboration with the FEM (Freshwater Ecology and Management) research group of the University of Barcelona. His research on limnology field has focused on the study of the aquatic macroinvertebrate community as indicator of river ecological status and on the invasive algae Didymosphenia geminata, studying aspects related to its ecology, distribution and effects on the river ecosystem. In the education field he has deepened in the use of learning tools and educational programs related to water and environmental education.
