LuciaSorianoLucía Soriano Martínez (Madrid, 1977). PhD in Civil Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Madrid, she developed her doctoral thesis with Cum Laude qualification on the sustainable management of rainwater in urban environments, focusing the case study on the city of Zaragoza.
Master in Sustainable River Management and Integrated Water Management (University of Zaragoza, 2010), Specialisation Diploma in Urban Hydraulics (University School of La Almunia de Doña Godina, 2014), University Expert in Inequality, Cooperation and Development (Complutense University of Madrid, 2004), University Master in Secondary Education (Camilo José Cela University, 2018) and degree in Social and Cultural Anthropology (in progress).

24 years of professional experience mainly in three areas; The management area, in which the position of Managing Director of the Agri-Food Research and Technology Centre of the Government of Aragon stands out, as well as the experience as Executive Manager of the Water Tribune of Expo Zaragoza 2008. In the technical field in the identification, design and implementation of national and international projects in green infrastructures and water and sanitation management in the private sector, the public sector and the third sector, with extensive experience in humanitarian aid and development cooperation projects. And in the academic field, as associate professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering and Environmental Technologies and co-director of the Master's Degree in Sustainable Water Management at the University of Zaragoza.
